Who We Are
We are all called to lend a helping hand and to carry the burden at times.
Footprints of Faith is a non-profit organization created to provide a home and give hope to a few. The children of Kenya are in need of our help and we have the opportunity to help them. There are many children in Kenya orphaned due to aids and other problems that are plaguing the area.
We are often blessed with the opportunity to help someone less fortunate than ourselves and it is how we choose to handle those blessings that make us who we are.
Our Mission
The Footprints of Faith Foundation is committed to helping as many children as we can in the village and surrounding areas of Rangala in Kenya. It is our goal to not only provide these children with the essentials of daily living, but to provide them with a loving home. It is our aim to change the cycle of life for these children by making sure they get a good education, the proper medical attention and nutrition, and help them with the development of social skills and leadership.
If we can help to build self esteem in these children and provide them with the resources to make changes themselves then we have made a real impact on not only their future, but the future of generations to come.
Our Gallery
Our gallery highlights some of the efforts we are making towards developing the land and constructing the building for these beautiful children in Rangala, Kenya. We are hoping to have the first phase completed near the end of 2009. The first phase with be able to accommodate ten children. It is our intention to continue to grow and help as many of these children as we can, but we can only do this with your help.
We will continue to update the gallery as we get new photographs. If you have any suggestions for photographs or things you would like to see please email us; we would love to hear from you.
How We Got Started - The Story
In December 2004, I went on a trip to Kenya to visit my family. My brothers accompanied me from Nairobi, the capital city to the rural village where I grew up. We had gone to visit my sister who still lives there. We would often take a stroll around to stretch our legs in the evenings and to visit with various people around the village.
It was during one of those night strolls that I would have an encounter that completely changed my life.

- We are excited to announce that we have broken ground on the new group home, and it is now in the process of being built. The new facility will be the home for ten children and will eventually be built out to house sixty-three children. We can't do this without your help. Stay tuned for more updates!
